IGP Traffic J&K Bhim Sen Tuti visited Rajouri and Poonch to review traffic arrangements for the ongoing Budha Amarnath Yatra and the forthcoming fruit season.
He held a detailed meeting with the DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range, SSP Rajouri, SSP Poonch, Deputy SP Traffic Rajouri-Poonch, and DTI Poonch to discuss traffic-related issues, including the condition of roads.
The IGP Traffic also briefed the traffic officers/officials on how to perform effective traffic duty. He stressed the need to check overloading in passenger vehicles in the hilly areas.
Finally, the IGP Traffic left for Srinagar via Mughal Road to personally review traffic arrangements in view of the ongoing road widening and construction work on the road.
