Union Home Minister Amit Shah has declared that India is on track to become a USD 5 trillion economy by the end of 2025. Addressing the concluding session of the Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit, Shah attributed this exponential growth to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Shah highlighted India’s remarkable ascent in the global economic landscape, rising from the 11th to the 5th largest economy between 2014 and 2023. He emphasized that this unprecedented leap within the first 75 years of Independence is solely due to Modi’s farsightedness and his ability to turn his vision into tangible results.
He further praised Modi’s leadership on various fronts, including spearheading the fight against climate change, accelerating global economic growth through the Make in India initiative, and leading the international movement for a terror-free world.
The Home Minister also emphasized India’s significant achievement on the diplomatic front, with the Delhi Declaration adopted at the G-20 summit considered a landmark document with lasting international impact
