The Indian military reported on Saturday that it intercepted and destroyed multiple Pakistani armed drones detected flying over Khasa Cantonment in Amritsar. In a statement, the Indian Army stated that this incident occurred at approximately 5 AM. They emphasized that Pakistan’s “blatant escalation with drone strikes and other munitions continues along our western borders.” The Army asserted that this “blatant attempt to violate India’s sovereignty and endanger civilians is unacceptable” and affirmed their commitment to thwarting enemy designs.
