Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police Police Post Pounichack headed by IC PP Pounichak assisted by IC BPP Sandwan have foiled two bovine smuggling attempts in which 13 bovines were rescued from vehicles bearing registration number No. JK02DH 3344 Mahindra pickup and JK02DL 1094 Tata pickup at Bhagatpur Ghou Manhasan.The drivers of the both the vehicle’s fled away from the spot after leaving behind the vehicle on the road by taking the advantage of darkness.
In this regard, two separate case FIR’s i.e. FIR No. 273/2024 and 274/2024 U/S 223/BNS 11 PCA Act have been registered in Police Station Domana.
Further investigation is underway.
General public have appreciated the continuous and strict actions of police against Bovine smugglers.
