The police in Vijaypur, Samba district, have solved a theft case and arrested two suspects. They have also recovered the stolen cash.
Madan Lal, a resident of Udhampur, reported to the Vijaypur police station that unidentified individuals snatched cash from him near Raya Morh while he was traveling from Jammu to Udhampur.
Responding promptly, the police registered a case (FIR No. 67/2024 U/S 382/323 IPC) and launched an investigation.
The investigation team, led by the Station House Officer (SHO) of Vijaypur police station, apprehended two accused – Shiv Raj Singh and Anil Kumar – after diligent efforts. Upon questioning, the stolen cash was recovered from Shiv Raj Singh’s residence.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
