Jammu Police, under Operation Sanjeevani, arrested a drug peddler with 4 grams of heroin in the Narwal area. This arrest reflects their continued efforts to fight drug trafficking.
The accused, Vishal Mehra from Rajeev Nagar, Narwal, Jammu, was apprehended on May 17th, 2024. The operation was led by the Station House Officer (SHO) of Bahu Fort Police Station with support from the In-charge Police Post, overseen by the SDPO East and SP South.
Police have registered a case (FIR No. 122/2024) under the NDPS Act against the accused at Bahu Fort Police Station. Further investigation is ongoing.
