The CBI has arrested a revenue inspector in Jammu for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 1 lakh. The accused allegedly demanded the bribe from a complainant who was facing eviction from a residential quarter. The CBI laid a trap and caught the accused while accepting the bribe. Searches at his premises led to the recovery of cash of Rs 6.5 lakh and property documents. The accused is being produced in court today.
