The Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) has announced summer vacations for all government and recognized private schools in the summer zone areas of the Jammu division.
Students will observe the vacation from June 7, 2025, to July 16, 2025.
However, the teaching staff will need to report to their schools on July 14, 2025. This is to prepare the schools for students’ return, including tasks like:
- Cleanliness
- Preparation of Teaching Learning Material (TLM)
- Lesson planning
- Time table planning
- Ensuring facilities for online classes, such as ICT Labs, are ready
Additionally, teachers are required to remain available for any online guidance of students during the vacation period. The DSEJ has stated that any non-compliance by school heads or teaching staff will result in action being taken under the rules.
