The Srinagar-Jammu highway was closed on Monday due to a landslide in Banihal. The landslide occurred in the Shalgiri area of Ramban district.
“Traffic on the highway has been halted in both directions,” a police spokesperson said.
Heavy rainfall was reported across Jammu and Kashmir, with snowfall in some remote hilly regions.
