Two separate gunfights erupted in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday night. In Rajouri district, security forces engaged in a prolonged battle with militants hiding in the remote village of Lathi. The encounter began after forces received intelligence about the militants’ presence and launched a search operation.
Meanwhile, in Kupwara district, security forces thwarted an infiltration attempt, leading to another confrontation with militants. The exchange of fire in both locations continued into the early hours of Wednesday morning.
