J&K Lt Governor attends Passing Out Parade of Police Recruits in Baramulla

The 16th Basic Recruitment Training Course (BRTC) was held at Subsidiary Training School (STC), Sheeri, Baramulla, Jammu and Kashmir. Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the Attestation cum Passing Out Parade of the recruits.
A total of 510 recruit constables completed their rigorous training at the Training School.
In his address, the Lt Governor congratulated the cadets and encouraged them to discharge their responsibility with the highest degree of professionalism and commitment.
He praised the J&K Police for combating terrorism and maintaining the Rule of Law in the Union Territory. He also talked about the prevailing peace and transformation in Jammu Kashmir.
The Lt Governor also emphasized the need for modern-day policing to meet the challenges of the 21st century. He said that the new recruits will carry forward the glorious legacy of the country’s most courageous Police Force and give a befitting reply to enemies of the peace.
DGP Dilbag Singh congratulated the passing out constables for becoming an integral part of Jammu Kashmir Police Force.
An oath was administered to the passing out constables for performing their duties with honesty and utmost sensitivity.
Safina Baig, Chairperson District Development Council, Baramulla; R.K Goyal, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department; senior serving and retired police & army personnel, PRI representatives, and family members of the passing out cadets were present.
