Acting on intelligence of possible militant activity, Indian Army’s Romeo Force and Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operation Group (SOG) initiated a coordinated Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) across multiple areas in Poonch district. The forces are currently engaged in extensive searches throughout the region.
