Posters offering a reward of ₹20 lakh for information regarding three terrorists implicated in the Pahalgam attack have been displayed in various locations across the Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials reported on Tuesday.
These posters, which include photographs of the three suspected terrorists, have been affixed at multiple sites within the south Kashmir district. The individuals pictured are believed to be responsible for the attack that occurred on April 22 in the Baisaran meadows of the popular tourist destination in south Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 people.
The posters appeal to the public for any details concerning the whereabouts of these terrorists and promise a reward exceeding ₹20 lakh for actionable information.
Written in Urdu, the posters implore residents to assist in locating the terrorists, stating that “those who killed the innocents do not have a place in our country”.
Previously, on April 23, the police had announced a bounty of ₹20 lakh for information that would lead to the neutralization of the terrorists involved in the Pahalgam attack.
Security agencies have also circulated sketches of three men suspected of involvement in the terror incident. Officials have identified these men, all believed to be Pakistani nationals, as Asif Fauji, Suleman Shah, and Abu Talha. They are known by the code names Moosa, Yunus, and Asif and have reportedly been involved in terror-related activities in the Poonch region.
