Union Minister Jitendra Singh reiterated on Wednesday that Jammu and Kashmir will regain full statehood at an “appropriate time,” urging the public to trust Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s assurances.
In a video interview, Singh dismissed as “irrelevant” a letter from top Congress leaders Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi, who had called for legislation in the upcoming Monsoon session of Parliament to restore J&K’s statehood.
