Two young students from a religious seminary tragically died from suffocation in the Ashtangoo village of Bandipora district on Wednesday morning.
The students, identified as 10-year-old Muneer Ahmad Chechi and 9-year-old Tanveer Ahmad Chechi, were found unconscious along with their father by Darasgah officials. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, the boys could not be revived. Their father is currently undergoing treatment at the district hospital in Bandipora.
Initial investigations by the police suggest suffocation as the cause of death. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are still under investigation.
