Following the tragic death of Syed Adil Hussain Shah on April 22nd in Baisaran, where he was killed while confronting terrorists during an attack, the Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board has offered support to his family. On Thursday, the Board’s chairperson, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, presented an appointment letter to Syed Adil Hussain’s brother in recognition of his courageous sacrifice.
Speaking to the press, Dr. Andrabi emphasized that Syed Adil’s bravery and selflessness would never be forgotten. Nazakat Ahmad, Syed Adil’s brother, expressed his gratitude for the support and spoke highly of his brother’s heroic actions in protecting others.
The incident on April 22nd in the Baisaran valley of Pahalgam resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians, including Syed Adil Hussain, when terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists.
