Kashmir braces for wet spell as night temperatures rise

While the next 24 hours will be dry, rain or snow is forecast for March 21-22 in many places across Jammu and Kashmir. There might be thunder, lightning, and strong winds during this period.

Mostly Dry Later: The weather is expected to be dry on March 23rd. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are expected on March 24th with a chance of light rain or snow in some areas. Generally dry weather is forecast for March 25-26. From March 27-28, skies will be partly to mostly cloudy with a possibility of light rain or snow in a few places.

Night Temperatures: Minimum temperatures rose in most places compared to the previous night. Srinagar recorded a low of 4.2°C (below normal by 0.5°C). Qazigund (gateway town of Kashmir) recorded a low of 2.4°C (1.2°C below normal). Pahalgam (famous resort) recorded a low of -1.1°C (1.2°C below normal). Kokernag recorded a high of 4.0°C (0.5°C above normal). Kupwara recorded a low of 1.9°C (1.2°C below normal). Gulmarg (skiing resort) recorded a low of -0.8°C (1.5°C above normal). Jammu (winter capital) recorded a minimum of 14.6°C (0.3°C below normal).
