A heartbreaking accident occurred on Friday evening in Kishtwar district, Jammu and Kashmir. A passenger vehicle skidded off the road near Hakko Palali and plunged into a deep gorge, leaving two people dead and ten others injured.
The vehicle, a Tata Sumo with registration number JK17-7378, was traveling from Gulabgarh to Hakko Palali when the driver lost control. The official report states that the accident resulted in the unfortunate death of two passengers and injuries to ten others, including the driver.
Rescue teams responded promptly and retrieved the bodies from the gorge. All injured individuals were evacuated to the nearest Public Health Centre (PHC) in Atholi Paddar for medical treatment.
