During a recent incident in the Kund belt of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district, two people were killed and two others injured when an alpine tree and a boulder fell on their tent. The victims, identified as Mohammad Shafi Boker and his daughter-in-law Reshma Begum, were a nomadic family from Rajouri. Gusty winds are believed to have dislodged the tree and boulder, causing them to crash onto the tent. The two deceased individuals died instantly. Police have since taken cognizance of the incident.
