Kupwara Police have successfully apprehended two individuals involved in drug peddling during a routine patrol in Regipora Sumo Stand. The arrested individuals have been identified as Faizan Ahmad Zarger and Tulha Zarger, both residents of Tikker, Kupwara.
During the search operation, law enforcement officers recovered 4 grams of Brown Sugar and a substantial amount of cash, totaling ₹35,000/- from the suspects.
A formal case, FIR No. 279/2024, has been registered at Police Station Kupwara under relevant sections of law. The investigation into this matter is currently underway.
