In a successful operation on Friday, security forces discovered a militant hideout stocked with weapons in Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir. Acting on intelligence about a hideout in the Gangbugh forest area of Sogam, they launched a search operation and unearthed a significant cache of arms and ammunition.
The seized items included grenade launchers, grenades of various types, ammunition for rifles and machine guns, a pistol with magazines, and an improvised explosive device. This operation is a major setback for Pakistan-based terror groups aiming to disrupt peace in Kashmir, according to a police spokesperson.
