Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir – Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha convened a meeting with political leaders at Raj Bhawan on Thursday to finalize preparations for the annual Amarnath Yatra, scheduled to begin on July 3. The discussion centered on ensuring a safe and successful pilgrimage, a crucial event for both the spiritual and economic well-being of the region.
LG Sinha highlighted the extensive efforts undertaken by the Shri Amarnath Ji Shrine Board, the administration, Jammu and Kashmir Police, and other security forces to enhance essential facilities and services for devotees. He expressed optimism that this year’s pilgrimage would be “memorable and spiritually enriching,” marking “the beginning of a new chapter for Jammu and Kashmir.”
