Srinagar: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is chairing a high-level security meeting in Srinagar to assess the prevailing situation in Kashmir and finalize arrangements for the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, according to sources.
Top officials from various intelligence agencies, the Jammu and Kashmir Police, and other security forces are attending the meeting. Deliberations are expected to focus on the overall security landscape across Jammu and Kashmir.
A primary point of discussion will be the Amarnath Yatra, slated to begin on July 3. Officials will review and enhance security measures to ensure a safe and seamless pilgrimage for all devotees, a source confirmed.
