Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha of Jammu and Kashmir said that the people have to play their role in establishing peace and prosperity by isolating the conflict profiteers in society. He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for a new district hospital at Budgam.
Sinha said that the security forces, police and administration are doing their job but the people will have to play their role in isolating the conflict profiteers in society. He also lamented that most people remember their rights but tend to ignore their duties towards the nation.
He said that if every citizen, besides asking for his rights, also fulfils his duties, no power can stop Jammu and Kashmir from developing. He also stressed the need to change the thinking process and said that the people should also do their part in safeguarding the dignity of Jammu and Kashmir and the national flag.
In short, the Lieutenant Governor has appealed to the people of Jammu and Kashmir to play their role in establishing peace and prosperity by isolating the conflict profiteers and fulfilling their duties towards the nation.
