The Meteorological Center anticipates continued hot and dry conditions across Jammu and Kashmir today, April 30th. However, the forecast shifts starting tomorrow, May 1st, through May 5th, with a chance of light rain accompanied by thunder and gusty winds in isolated areas.
Looking ahead, from May 6th to May 8th, the weather is expected to be generally dry with minimal precipitation. Daytime temperatures are also predicted to be higher than usual during this period.
Another change is expected from May 9th to May 10th, as a new western disturbance is likely to bring light rain and thunder to a few locations.
Residents and those planning to travel are advised to drink plenty of water and take appropriate measures to protect themselves from potential heat waves.
