Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha held a high-level meeting with senior officials to assess the progress of various government initiatives, including the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, recruitment drives, and outreach programs. The meeting aimed to bridge the information and knowledge gap regarding government schemes and programs across Jammu and Kashmir.
Attendees included Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DGP RR Swain, ADGP Law & Order Vijay Kumar, Principal Secretary to Lt Governor Dr Mandeep Kumar Bhandari, JKSSB Chairman Rajesh Sharma, Administrative Secretaries, Divisional Commissioners, DIGs, Deputy Commissioners, SPs, and other senior officials from the Civil and Police Administration.
Lt. Governor Sinha emphasized the need to reach out to farmers, youth, women, and underserved communities to inform and educate them about government schemes and programs. He stressed the importance of saturating all schemes to achieve Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India, Viksit Bharat.
Sinha directed senior officials to regularly assess and closely monitor the saturation of flagship schemes. He instructed Deputy Commissioners, SPs, and other concerned Departments to actively promote the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and other public outreach programs.
The Lt Governor also reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Panchayat Secretary examination and other recruitment drives by the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board.
