JAMMU: In a significant event held at the party headquarters in Jammu, several prominent individuals joined the Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas), marking a notable expansion of the party’s influence in the region.
The new members included Arif Hussain, Mohsin Imtiyaz, Mohd Zahir, Shabir Ahmed, Waseem, Anoop Sarmal, Amzad Choudary, Junaid Choudary, and Wajid Hussain. They were welcomed into the party fold by the State President, Rafiq Malik, in the esteemed presence of several senior party leaders. Among those present were Ravi Kumar Bali, Chief Advisor JKUT; Daljit Singh, Chief Co-ordinator; R.P. Singh, State Senior General Secretary JKUT; Vikram Singh, State General Secretary JKUT; Varun Bali, State Senior Vice President JKUT; State Secretary and Office Incharge Mahraj Krishan Bhat; Puran Chand Malhotra, State Secretary JKUT; Inder Kumar Manhas, Jammu Province President; Kamaljeet; Gurdev Singh, President of Sikh Minority Cell; Shahbaz Malik, State Youth President JKUT; and Nirmal, State Senior General Secretary JKUT.
In his address, State President Rafiq Malik welcomed the new members and expressed confidence that their inclusion would strengthen the party’s grassroots network and contribute to its mission of socio-political empowerment. He highlighted the party’s commitment to addressing the concerns of the people and working towards their welfare. He stated, “The Lok Janshakti Party (Ramvilas) stands for the rights and aspirations of the common people. With the inclusion of these distinguished individuals, we are further empowered to voice the issues of the masses and work tirelessly for their resolution.”
Speaking on the occasion, Vikram Singh Bhadwal State General Secretary JKUT emphasized the paramount importance of unity and collective effort in achieving the party’s goals. He highlighted that individual contributions, while valuable, are significantly amplified when aligned with a unified vision and collaborative approach. He also pointed out that the challenges ahead can only be overcome through a concerted effort, reiterating that unity is the foundation upon which the party’s success will be built.
Inder Manhas Provincial President Jammu took the opportunity to announce key appointments within the party. Arif Hussain was appointed as State Secretary JKUT, Mohsin Imtiyaz as District President Doda JKUT, and Mohd Zahir as President of Ward 36 Janipur. These appointments, Malik noted, are a testament to the party’s trust in their capabilities and dedication to the party’s cause.
The event concluded with a renewed pledge by the party members to work collectively towards the development and prosperity of Jammu and Kashmir. The induction of new members is seen as a strategic move to bolster the party’s presence and influence in the region, especially ahead of the upcoming political engagements.
