Following a devastating fire that left approximately forty families homeless and damaged twenty residential homes in Gajinag, Kadipora, Anantnag, Cabinet Minister Sakina Itoo visited the affected area on Friday. She conveyed Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s commitment to providing full government support to the victims.
“We have been sent here by the CM Omar Abdullah himself, and all possible help from the government will be provided,” she assured the residents. Itoo also pledged to collaborate with the district administration to develop a comprehensive relief plan.
Accompanied by legislators Altaf Kaloo, Abdul Majeed Larmi, and Peerzada Saeed, as well as Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Syed Fakhrudin Hamid, Minister Itoo assessed the extensive damage caused by the blaze in the old town area.
