Police in Baramulla solved a burglary case and arrested the accused, Showkat Ahmad Bhat. Stolen mobile phones worth 1.5 lakh were recovered from his possession.
On July 2, 2023, Zahoor Ahmad Bazi filed a complaint with Police Station Baramulla stating that his mobile shop was burglarized during the intervening night of July 1st and 2nd. A case was registered and the investigation was initiated.
The investigating team used technical and human resources to identify the suspect, Showkat Ahmad Bhat. He was arrested and questioned, and he admitted to the crime. The stolen mobile phones were recovered from his possession.
The police have praised the investigating team for their quick work in solving the case and recovering the stolen property. They have also warned criminals that they will be brought to justice.
