Night temperatures warm in some Kashmir regions, Srinagar remains chilly

While most of Jammu and Kashmir experienced a minor rise in night temperatures, Srinagar, the summer capital, stayed at a chilly -4.9°C overnight. This is only 0.1°C warmer than the previous night.

Coldest Places:

  • Pahalgam: -8.6°C, up from -10.3°C
  • Gulmarg: -7.0°C, up from -9.0°C
  • Qazigund: -5.8°C, up from -6.4°C
  • Kupwara: -4.4°C

Jammu Region:

  • Jammu: 7.3°C
  • Katra: 6.1°C
  • Batote: 3.9°C
  • Bhaderwah: -2.2°C
  • Banihal: 1.8°C

Forecast:

  • Dry weather expected until February 17th.
  • Possible cloudy skies on February 14th.
