Srinagar’s Meteorological Centre has forecast dry weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir until December 20.
Today, expect generally dry weather. However, on December 11, there’s a slight chance of light snow over isolated higher reaches during the evening and night. From December 12th onwards, dry conditions are expected to prevail.
“No significant weather activity is anticipated until December 20,” officials stated.
Cold and dry weather is expected to persist over many areas in the coming 7-10 days.
Given the sub-freezing temperatures and icy road conditions on passes and higher reaches, tourists, travelers, and transporters are advised to adhere to advisories issued by the administration and traffic department.
