Operation Sindoor Not Just Miltary Mission, But Reflection Of Changing India: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, speaking on his monthly radio program “Mann Ki Baat” on Sunday, declared that “Operation Sindoor” transcends a mere military endeavor, representing instead “the face of a changing India” that embodies the nation’s resolve, courage, and increasing global influence.

The Prime Minister asserted that the entire country stands united against terrorism, fueled by anger and determination. He lauded Operation Sindoor as a pivotal moment in the worldwide battle against terror, characterizing it as a testament to India’s burgeoning strength and clear objectives. Modi stated that the operation has “infused new confidence and energy into the global fight against terrorism,” praising the “extraordinary precision” with which Indian forces targeted terrorist infrastructure across the border.

Modi underscored that Operation Sindoor is not an isolated military action but a reflection of a transformed and resolute India. He emphasized, “Operation Sindoor is the picture of our resolve, courage, and a changing India,” and elaborated on its profound impact nationwide.

The success of the operation spurred numerous tributes to the armed forces, including patriotic poems on social media, children’s paintings, and widespread Tiranga Yatras. Modi noted, “In many cities, youth volunteered for civil defence, wrote poems, sang songs of resolve, and children made paintings carrying powerful messages.” He recounted a recent visit to Bikaner where he received paintings created by children. Furthermore, he highlighted that “In cities like Katihar and Kushinagar, families named their newborns ‘Sindoor’ in honour of the operation.”

The Prime Minister attributed the mission’s success to India’s indigenous defense capabilities, aligning with the “Aatmanirbhar Bharat” (self-reliant India) initiative. He stated, “This was the ultimate bravery of our soldiers, backed by the power of weapons, equipment, and technology made in India.” Modi also observed a revitalized nationwide enthusiasm for the “Vocal for Local” campaign following Operation Sindoor, asserting that the mission had not only inspired patriotism but also reinforced the spirit of self-reliance. He concluded, “This victory carries the sweat of our engineers, technicians, and every citizen who contributed.”
