During the recent Navratri festival, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board implemented several initiatives to improve the pilgrim experience, according to CEO Anshul Garg. A newly introduced smart locker system received positive feedback from devotees. Additionally, over 50,000 pilgrims partook in the board’s langar services over the nine-day period.
“The board consistently strives to enhance facilities for devotees,” stated CEO Garg. “The smart locker system’s successful implementation is a testament to this commitment.” He also highlighted the positive reception of the route’s decorations and the board’s cleanliness drive, which significantly contributed to a fulfilling pilgrimage.
Large crowds of devotees visited the Mata Vaishno Devi Temple on Navami, the final day of Chaitra Navratri, to offer prayers.
Simultaneously, in Srinagar, the ancient Shankaracharya Temple saw a surge in visitors on Ram Navami. Aarti, a devotee from Kerala, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to visit the Lord Shiva temple on this auspicious occasion.
