PM Modi likens previous government to outdated phones in dig at opposition parties

Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized previous governments at the 7th India Mobile Congress, comparing them to mobile phone screens that used to freeze. He said that the current government has made significant progress in the electronics sector, with India now being the second largest mobile manufacturer in the world and exporting electronics worth Rs 2 lakh crore. He also emphasized the government’s commitment to making technology accessible to everyone, and mentioned the 80 thousand crore rupees PLI scheme for semiconductor development.
