Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police have arrested drug peddler in Baramulla and recovered psychotropic substances from his possession.
A police party of Police Post Babareshi headed by IC PP Babareshi at a checkpoint established at Shrunz Crossing, intercepted one person. During search, 48 capsules of Spasmoproxyvon Plus psychotropic substances was recovered from his possession. He was later identified as Sameer Ahmad Dar son of Abdul Hamid resident of Janbazpora Baramulla. He has been arrested and shifted to PS Tangmarg were he remained in custody.
Accordingly, case under relevant sections of law have been registered at Police Station Tangmarg and investigations have been initiated.
