J&K Police in Anantnag have successfully solved a theft case in the village of Shatroo, Larnoo. Following the arrest of the accused, Arif Ahmad Wani, the police recovered stolen copper utensils.
The investigation began after a complaint was filed by Meena Banoo on August 9, 2025, who reported that her copper utensils had been stolen from her home. Police Station Larnoo immediately registered a case (FIR No. 29/2025) and launched an investigation.
Under the leadership of SHO Police Station Larnoo, DySP (Prob.) Atti-Ur-Rehman, the police team used intelligence and all available resources to crack the case and recover the stolen items. The accused, Arif Ahmad Wani, a resident of Shatroo, Larnoo, was arrested.
