Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Pulwama Police arrested 01 drug peddler and recovered psychotropic substance from his possession.
A police party of Police Post Newa during Patrolling at Parigam intercepted a suspicious person roaming in the area, who tried to flee from the spot but was tactfully apprehended.
During search, heroine like substance weighing 11 grams was recovered from his possession. The accused have been arrested and was later identified as Solihat Bashir S/o Bashir Ahmed wani R/o parigam.
To this effect a Case FIR No. 33/25 u/s 8/20-29 NDPS act stands registered in Police Station Pulwama and investigation is set into motion.
