Pulwama Police have arrested a drug peddler and seized 60 grams of charas during a naka checking operation in the Argecheck (Aglar Kandi) area.
The individual, identified as Javid Ahmad Mir, son of Mohd Akbar Mir, a resident of Pakherpora, was intercepted by a team from Police Station Rajpora near the Argecheck bridge due to his suspicious behavior.
A case has been registered under FIR No. 49/2025 at Police Station Rajpora under relevant sections of the NDPS Act (8/20). Authorities are currently investigating to identify and apprehend others involved in the drug network.
Pulwama Police reiterate their commitment to eradicating drug abuse and urge the public to report any drug-related activities to support their efforts.
