A fatal road accident occurred in the Chaimulla area of Qazigund, Kulgam, on Friday. A Tata Mobile vehicle collided with a truck on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to another.
Hemraj, son of Mukhtar Singh, from Patlauni, Mathura, succumbed to his injuries at Qazigund Hospital. His companion, Rajendra Singh, son of Noori Khan, was critically injured and transported to GMC Anantnag for advanced medical care.
Local authorities have initiated an investigation into the accident.
