A tragic accident near the Qazigund Toll Plaza in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Sunday resulted in the death of a scooty rider.
Police reported that a bus, registration number JK02BB-1866, traveling from Jammu, collided with a scooty, registration number JK03N-2789, near the Nayvug Tunnel area. The scooty rider, identified as Mohammad Yousuf Khan, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Khan, from Nodoora, Doru, died instantly after being struck by the bus.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the incident.
