Ramban Police have successfully solved 02 theft cases, arresting the accused and recovered the stolen property in the jurisdiction of Police Station Ramban and Police Station Gool.
ATM theft case: An ATM theft case was reported at P/S Ramban and Case FIR No. 14/2025 under relevant sections of BNS registered at P/S Ramban. The Police team of P/S Ramban by making the best possible efforts arrested the accused person namely Imtiaz Ahmed S/O Salam Din R/O Village Sundgali Maitra B Ramban who has withdrawn Rs. 20000/- from ATM account of one Mohd Sharief S/O Ghulam Nabi R/O Sawani Tehsil & District Ramban.
In another instance a complaint regarding theft of Iron Bars received at Police Station Gool and FIR No. 13/2025 under relevant section of BNS. Acting swiftly, Police team after sternum efforts and with the help of technical assistance & CCTV footage, apprehend two suspects identified as 1. Mohd Ashraf son of Abdul Rashid Lohar resident of Jamslan Tehsil Mohore district Reasi and 2. Mohd Shafi resident of Gagraa Tata Pani Gool. During questioning both the accused confessed their involvement in the commission of offence. On their disclosures Iron bars worth Rs 50,000/- have been recovered and seized by the Police.
