Police in Katra have arrested an individual for allegedly endangering public safety in the Matyal area.
Acting on reliable information, Police Station Katra registered a case against Vikas Sharma, also known as Viku Matrian, a resident of Matyal. He is accused of:
- Wandering the Matyal locality.
- Possessing a sharp weapon (Toka).
- Threatening local residents.
In response to these reports, a Katra police team immediately intervened.
A First Information Report (FIR No. 85/2025) has been filed under Section 4/25 of the Arms Act. An investigation is currently ongoing.
