Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan visited the Mata Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, to seek blessings ahead of the release of his upcoming film, Dunki. The film, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, is set to release in theaters on December 21, 2023.
Khan was spotted wearing a white kurta pajama and a black shawl as he entered the temple. He was accompanied by a few security personnel. The actor spent some time praying inside the temple before returning to his hotel.
A video of Khan’s visit to the Vaishno Devi shrine has gone viral on social media. In the video, the actor can be seen interacting with fans and taking selfies with them.
This is not the first time that Khan has visited the Vaishno Devi shrine. He has visited the temple on several occasions in the past, including before the release of his films Pathaan and Jawan.
Dunki is a comedy film that also stars Taapsee Pannu and Boman Irani. The film is set in London and revolves around the story of an Indian man who travels to the UK to work illegally.
