A soldier died while on duty along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, an official said. The soldier, Naik Rohan Patel, fell unconscious while moving towards a drill, the official said. He was immediately evacuated to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead. A police official confirmed the death of the soldier.
