Srinagar Endures Season’s Frigidest Night with Record Low Temperature of Minus 2 Degrees Celsius

Srinagar recorded its coldest night of the season on Wednesday, with a temperature of minus 2.0°C. This is 1.1°C below normal for this time of year.
Qazigund, Pahalgam, Kupwara, and Gulmarg also recorded below-normal temperatures. However, Kokernag recorded a temperature of minus 0.5°C, which is 0.1°C above normal.
Jammu recorded a temperature of 9.0°C, which is 0.8°C below normal.
Partly cloudy weather is expected till December 7. From December 8-10, partly to generally cloudy weather is expected.
