Tragically, a Power Development Department (PDD) lineman, Ghulam Ali Wagay, lost his life on Monday in the Hawal area of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. While performing maintenance duties, Mr. Wagay, who was assigned to the Hawal Subdivision, fell from an electric pole and succumbed to his injuries at the scene. Authorities have acknowledged the incident and are currently conducting an investigation.
