Srinagar Logs Record-Breaking Hottest July Night Amidst Ongoing Heatwave

Srinagar is experiencing an unprecedented heatwave this season, with the city shattering a centuries-old record today for the highest minimum temperature ever recorded in July. The capital city registered a minimum temperature of 25.2°C, according to Kashmir Weather.

This new record matches the previous all-time high of 25.2°C, which was set on July 21, 1988. The third highest minimum temperature for July was 24.8°C, recorded just last year on July 29, 2024.

Notably, the years 2022, 2024, and 2025 are emerging as some of the warmest Julys on record, consistently dominating temperature charts.
