Police are investigating the suspicious death of an elderly man in Budgam district, central Kashmir.
The body of Ghulam Rasool Bhat, 65, son of Ali Mohammad Bhat from Haproo in Chararsharief area, was found in Wadder Batpora on Friday evening.
Police have initiated proceedings under Section 174 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC), which applies to unnatural deaths. The investigation is ongoing.
