Security forces in Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir have found a suspicious object on the Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch national highway. The object was found near the Niali Manjakote area, and has prompted authorities to divert traffic on a 7-kilometer stretch of the highway.
The technical teams of the police and army have been called in to assess the object. Until it is determined to be safe, the highway will remain closed to traffic.
The authorities have urged people to avoid the area and cooperate with the security forces.
