On 13-12-2023, a complaint was received at Police Station Ramban from one person namely Romesh Kumar son of Dhani Ram resident of Ward no. 04, Upper Bazar, Tehsil and District Ramban, at P Ramban that during intervening night of 11-12-2023, some unknown person(s) stole cash worth lakhs from his Karyana Gen. Store(Shop), located at main market Ramban. On receipt of the information, a case FIR No 347/2023, U/s 380/457 IPC was registered at PS Ramban.
A special team was constituted by *SSP Ramban Ms.Mohita Sharma, IPS* to recover the stolen money. During the course of investigation, police rounded up several suspects and finally arrested Bindesh Kumar son of Suram Chand, resident of Sencha, Tehsil and District: – Ramban. After sustained questioning the said suspected person confessed his involvement in the commission of offence in the instant case, which lead to the recovery of approximately Rs 03 Lacs (Three)/- INR from his house at Sencha, Ramban.
The arrest and recovery was made by police team of Police station Ramban under the overall supervision of SSP Ramban.Â
